Welder:

Must have at least three years experience with heavy industrial welding. (We do not spot weld!) Qualified applicants will be required to show knowledge of welding “best practices” as well as demonstrate a proper weld. All new employee must also pass a drug test. Wage based on experience. Position is full time and benefits such as health insurance begin after 90 day probationary period.
 

Fabricator:

Must have at least three years experience with heavy industrial fabrication. Qualified applicants will be required to show knowledge of fabrication “best practices” as well as demonstrate proper techniques. All new employees must also pass a drug test. Wage based on experience. Position is full time and benefits such as health insurance begin after 90 day probationary period.
 

CNC Machinist:

Must have at least three years’ experience with CNC Machining. Specific experience with a Mazak Quick Turn is preferred but not required. Qualified applicants will be required to show knowledge of machining “best practices” as well as demonstrate competency in mathematics. New employees must also pass a drug test. Wage based on experience. Position is full time and benefits such as health insurance begin after 90-day probationary period.

Mechanical Detailer/Mechanical Engineer:

Fabriweld of Tennessee is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. This position is responsible for developing mechanical and electromechanical drawings that meet our customers’ requirements.
Position overview:

  • Read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.
  • Evaluate mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials.
  • Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods
  • Develop products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods / materials and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling and installing components.
  • Assure system and product quality through ongoing inspection and testing.
  • Maintain technical accuracy of customer requirements and specific design details.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide engineering information by answering both internal and external requests.
  • Use of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD software.

Salary is commensurate with experience, and includes a benefit package.
